Here at Scott's we do things a bit differently.

You see, most coffee you get at your local grocery store isn't fresh. Not even close. It was roasted as long as 3 months ago and has just been sitting there on the shelf, getting older and more stale by the day. Even worse, it may have come from last year's coffee crop! Yuck!

And to add insult to injury, many mass-market coffee is roasted in a huge dirty cast iron drum in large unmonitored batches. This causes the beans on the outside edge of the drum to burn and the inner beans just don't get done enough. Many of the coffee beans get broken or crushed and leave a nasty residue behind that contaminates each and every batch of coffee beans roasted in that dirty drum. And you can taste it in your coffee...inconsistent quality from cup to cup and bag to bag, bitter aftertaste and loss of precious flavor.

But like I said - we're different. Very different.

Here at Scott's Coffee House we use only the best of the best coffee beans, then we roast them in small batches in a convection oven to ensure each and every bean is evenly roasted to perfection. Then we package it up fresh and ship it out the day it's roasted (within 24 hours of your order). We don't pre-roast and package our coffee and let them sit on a shelf in a warehouse for weeks - we wouldn't think of roasting and grinding your coffee until the day you order it, and then we ship it out within 24 hours. Just the way you like, from our roaster to your coffee cup.

And since each order is roasted in small batches in a convection oven, there's no crushed or burnt beans or debris to ruin the flavor, taste and aroma of your delicious gourmet coffee.
